Wedding of Dürrüşehvar the only daughter of the last caliph Abdulmejid II to Azam Jah, the eldest son of the nizam of Hyderabad, at Villa Carabacel in Nice. The Nizam’s younger son, Muazzam Jah, was married to Dürrüşehvar’s cousin Nilüfer. The wedding was arranged by Maulana Shaukat Ali.
